Abstract

This compilation of studies showcases the cutting-edge of pediatric neuroimaging, emphasizing advanced MRI techniques for diagnosing and monitoring neurological disorders in children. Key modalities like DTI and fMRI provide detailed insights into brain structure and function. Specialized methods such as SWI, MRS, perfusion MRI, QSM, and 7T MRI are detailed for their applications in conditions ranging from traumatic brain injury to brain tumors. The challenges of imaging young children, including sedation, are addressed, alongside the transformative potential of AI and ML in analysis, highlighting a significant evolution in pediatric neurological diagnostics.
