Abstract

Pediatric neurorehabilitation addresses neurological conditions in children, aiming to enhance motor, cognitive, and social functions. Key approaches include early intervention, family-centered care, and individualized treatment plans. Physiotherapy, particularly for cerebral palsy, employs task-oriented training. Technology like robotics and virtual reality offers novel therapeutic avenues. Managing spasticity and cognitive impairments requires specialized strategies. Acquired brain injury necessitates multidisciplinary care. Play-based therapy and a smooth transition to adult services are also critical components.
