Abstract

This collection of research highlights advancements in pediatric solid organ transplantation. It covers improvements in organ preservation, surgical techniques, and immunosuppression, leading to better outcomes for conditions like heart, liver, and kidney disease. Challenges such as donor organ shortage and the importance of multidisciplinary care are discussed, alongside the emerging role of artificial intelligence and minimally invasive surgery. Innovations like ex vivo lung perfusion and strategies for managing PTLD are also explored. Ethical considerations are reviewed, emphasizing the complex nature of pediatric transplantation
