Abstract

Recent advancements in stuttering therapy focus on evidence-based practices and personalized approaches. Telehealth and technology-assisted interventions are expanding access and engagement. Neurobiological research illuminates therapy’s impact on brain function. Established techniques like stuttering modification remain effective, while the psychosocial impact and integrated care models are increasingly emphasized. Emerging therapies like ACT and established programs like the Lidcombe Program offer diverse benefits. The field is moving towards comprehensive, individualized, and technologically informed interventions for improved fluency and quality of life.
