Abstract
This work examines the multifaceted role of power electronics in contemporary energy systems, focusing on renewable energy
integration and grid stability. It reviews advancements in semiconductor devices, control strategies for photovoltaic and energy
storage systems, and converters for electric vehicles and HVDC transmission. Applications in wireless power transfer and microgrids
are discussed, alongside the integration of AI and machine learning for system optimization. Power quality considerations are also
addressed, underscoring the ongoing evolution towards efficient and reliable energy management.
