Abstract
Ensuring safe motherhood for HIV-positive women involves comprehensive strategies to prevent transmission and manage the virus during pregnancy. This paper explores current practices, challenges, and advancements in HIV prevention and management within the context of maternal health. Key considerations include Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) protocols, obstetric care guidelines, and psychosocial support for expectant mothers. By addressing these factors, healthcare providers can enhance maternal outcomes and reduce vertical transmission risks, ultimately promoting safe motherhood for HIV-positive women.
