Abstract
This research compendium presents various advanced techniques for wastewater sludge management, focusing on stabilization, volume reduction, and resource recovery. It covers advanced oxidation processes, anaerobic digestion, composting, membrane biore actors, thermal hydrolysis, electro-Fenton, hydrothermal carbonization, bio-electrochemical systems, ultrasonic pre-treatment, and photocatalysis. The studies collectively aim to provide sustainable solutions for environmental challenges posed by increasing sludge volumes and complex organic pollutants.
