Spectrofluorimetry: Progress in Drug and Pesticide Analysis

Abstract
This compilation reviews recent advances in spectrofluorimetric methods for analyzing pharmaceuticals and pesticides across diverse matrices. It covers techniques utilizing intrinsic fluorescence, derivatization reactions, and nanomaterial enhancements to achieve high sensitivity and selectivity. Specific applications include quantifying drugs like clozapine, desloratadine, losartan potassium, vardenafil, empagliflozin, and nintedanib in biological fluids, dosage forms, and environmental samples. The integration of green chemistry principles highlights a move towards sustainable analytical solutions for quality control, therapeutic drug monitoring, and environmental monitoring, emphasizing the versatility and growing importance of spectrofluorimetry in analytical chemistry.
