Abstract
This compilation of research explores the multifaceted applications and efficacy of sports taping, with a particular focus on Kinesio taping. Studies investigate its role in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement across various conditions including acute low back pain, chronic ankle instability, subacromial pain syndrome, and patellofemoral pain syndrome. Evidence suggests potential benefits in improving proprioception, muscle activation, balance, and reducing pain and disability. While many findings indicate short-term improvements, the need for further rigorous research to establish long-term effectiveness and definitive
guidelines is consistently highlighted.
