Abstract

This compilation of research explores stuttering from multiple perspectives, including neurobiological underpinnings, genetic factors, developmental trajectories, and psychosocial impacts. It examines the efficacy of various therapeutic interventions for different age groups, such as the Lidcombe Program for children and stuttering modification techniques for adults. The role of genetics, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and the vocational implications of stuttering are also discussed, emphasizing a holistic and individualized approach to assessment and treatment.
