Abstract
This collection of studies investigates the diverse applications and properties of surfactants in industrial chemistry. Research spans
tailoring molecular structures for enhanced performance, developing sustainable bio-based and ionic liquid surfactants, and exploring
specialized surfactants like polymeric and Gemini types. Applications range from detergents and enhanced oil recovery to coatings,
nanoemulsions, and environmental remediation. The importance of self-assembly, rheology, and stimuli-responsive behavior is also
highlighted, showcasing the evolving role of surfactants in modern industrial processes.
