Abstract
This compilation explores advancements in industrial biotechnology, covering metabolic engineering for biofuels and chemicals,
CRISPR-Cas for genome editing, and synthetic biology for microbial cell factories. It also delves into enzymatic biocatalysis for
green chemistry, microbial consortia for bioremediation, and the role of industrial enzymes in food and feed. The challenges and
strategies for bioprocess scale-up, microbial fermentation for pharmaceuticals, and biosensors for environmental monitoring are
presented. Finally, systems biology approaches for enhancing bioplastic production are discussed, highlighting progress towards
sustainable industrial processes.
