Abstract
This compilation details innovative strategies for mitigating heavy metal pollution. It covers biochar-based adsorbents for lead and cadmium, synergistic nZVI-bioaugmentation for chromium, and composite materials from waste for copper removal. Magnetic biochar, functionalized graphene oxide, MOFs, and magnetic polypyrrole nanoparticles are explored for nickel, zinc, mercury, and lead remediation. Bioremediation of arsenic-contaminated soil and plant-based adsorbents from agricultural waste are also presented. These studies emphasize sustainable, cost-effective, and efficient solutions for environmental cleanup.
