Abstract
Therapeutic ultrasound, including modalities like LIPUS and ESWT, shows significant promise in managing diverse musculoskeletal conditions by promoting tissue healing, reducing inflammation, and alleviating pain. It aids in bone fracture healing, osteoarthritis management, and recovery from muscle injuries. Ultrasound also serves as a diagnostic tool and guides interventions. Combination therapies and advanced techniques are being explored to enhance efficacy. Further research is validating its mechanisms and clinical applications across various pathologies.
