Abstract
This compilation of research underscores the critical role of thermodynamics in advancing industrial chemical processes. It
covers applications from fundamental principles in chemical reactions and phase equilibria to energy optimization in drying, carbon
capture, and energy storage. Thermodynamic insights are also applied to membrane separations, supercritical fluid extraction, and
the safety analysis of specialty chemicals, demonstrating its integral function in enhancing efficiency, sustainability, and safety across
the chemical industry.
